I'm a big Novak Djokovic fan but was just wondering what people thought about him? He's gone out quite early in recent tournaments - losing games and retiring from injury - and he lost his No. 3 spot to Andy Murray.
Do people think he might just continue to slip down the rankings or is there still life left in him?

Hi Nole. Djokovic is an interesting guy because he seems to let his head get in the way at times. I think he'll rise and fall throughout his career as he gets more and less confident. I'd be surprised if he dropped out of the top 10 in the next few years, and less surprised if he get's to #1 at some point.
You're right, he does have his peaks and troughs, particularly with this health. He retired for illness during the Australian Open didn't he? He just never seems to settle for very long.
Yeah I doubt he will leave the top ten but I would be surprised if he reached No. 1, not that I'm not hoping for it!
p.s. this sounds a bit weird, but has anyone seen Djokovic's impressions? A friend sent me a video of his best impressions and he was actually very good! Particularly of Sharapova, weirdly enough
His style of play seems to lend itself to a long career. Some players, like Nadal, put so much into it that they will wear themselves out in a few years with injuries. Djokovic's style is smooth, like Federer, so I think he will improve a bit more and stay in the top 7 or 8 for a while as bob suggests.
