This is a lighthearted take on a special news report that just flew in on the Millennium Falcon!! smile

As we approach the final 8 weeks of the 2011 Fantasy Tennis season the questions will soon be asked as to "Who will be the man to beat in 2012?"

The Han Solo Betting Agency has firmly stated that  "Tono" Is The Man To Beat in 2012!!

Head bookie "Chew BUCKa" said the reason for giving "Tono" the favouritism tag is simple.."It's based on results in all competitions that were formed in the latter half of the 2011 season."

"You can't argue with the stats" said Chewie!
Tono finished with the most combined points after 2 Grand Slams in "The Yoda Cup 2011" -1st
Tono won the inaugural "Yoda Cup" at Wimbledon 2011 - 1st
Tono finished fourth at the just completed "Yoda Cup" at the US Open 2011 - 4th
Tono won the inaugural "Obi Wan Cannoli" bracket challenge at the US Open 2011 - 1st
Tono currently leads "The Vader Trophy 2011" with 14 tournaments remaining - 1st
Tono finished fourth in the R2D2 Rogers Cup Masters 2011 - 4th
Tono finished first in the R2D2 Cincinnati Masters 2011 - 1st
Tono currently sits in fourth spot overall in the R2D2 Crown 2011 with 2 tournaments remaining - 4th

As usual there will be those that will argue with the bookmakers early favourtism tag but as Mr BUCKa has stated above... the stats don't lie!
He did however also state that all Fantasy Tennis competitions in 2012 will be more fiercely contested than ever before, that combined with the expectations of the fanatical New Zealand public will certainly see Tono under intense pressure when the first ball is hit in 2012! smile

Han Solo Betting Agency will have betting options available on all Fantasy Tennis competitions next year and will update the odds throughout the season for those mad keen tennis folk from around the world! wink

Don't know about the others,but you are surely a man whom I wont to beat! smile And you realy where the best in this half seson.I'm not saying that it would change something but I was not in the Vader and the Yoda Cup until the US Open.

Yeah I just noticed that BHP has been given all his auto-pick points to help drag him up into 3rd spot...I have amended that oversight now Arvis smile
Thats what I like to hear...everyone should be in it to win it next year!!
And yes I know Dragan my Serbian buddy that you will be chasing me hard next year trying your best to not only win everything but to also make sure you beat yours truly...TONO!! wink
Good Luck to everyone for next year...luck will definitely play its part throughout the year I'm sure, but lets hope its mainly skill and strategy that will eventually determine all the champions of Yoda, Vader, R2D2 and the Cannoli! big_smile
