Yes, folks, the draws are out and there are some interesting first round matches on the men's side:
Davydenko v. #32 Dodig
Karlovic v. Gonzo
Dimitrov v. #7 Monfils
Ryan Harrison v. #27 Cilic
Kohlschreiber v. #23 Stepanek
Baghdatis v. #28 Isner
Gulbis v. #16 Youzhny
To me, at least, the only one of those matches with a prohibitive favorite is Stepanek. Arguably Monfils also, but I'm not so sure about that one.

don't have a lot of time this morning to take an in-depth look but I'll definitely make some time later to peruse the whole draw...Now the fun starts!!

It looks like we're in store for some EPIC Round of 16 matches. Possible Federer vs. Fish, and possible Roddick vs. Nadal. BOTH of those could be upsets! Unlikely... but that's why they call them "upsets."

I've quickly put my Obi Wan brackets together but i'll look at them in more detail over the weekend...might be a few changes to my first impressions I think 
...haven't started on my Yoda team yet ;/ and i've preliminary locked in my Vader picks but have plenty of time to alter those if need be..the excitement is building huh
Get work done and dusted for another week and then it's the combined theme of Tennis & Star Wars that will dominate my weekend

Got both brackets, FTT and my teams here all picked. Have had for awhile, Arvis. ;-D

And upset here will be VERY unlikely. Never been a big Roddick fan. IMO, Andy is the most overrated tennis player on tour and he is lucky to be 21st in the world.

Anyways, every time Nadal comes into the USO playing rather like poop, I always predict an upset for him, and yet he pretty much never actually gets upset. And I'm doing it again this year. The way Roddick is playing in New Haven right now suggests he is back to nearly 100% both physically and mentally. And when he is 100% I would claim that he is absolutely not overrated.

Yes, this would be a bad time to take him since he's going to lose in the first round.

And you're still waiting! Or I am, anyway. I hope the picks close soon. The tourney has been going for awhile.
The very first result was strange, which is perhaps an omen. Nishikori retired after losing the first two sets to Cipolla! Hang on for what may turn into a bumpy ride!
