Topic: Federer beaten by Gulbis

Bit of a shocker here ladies and gents, but Roger Federer was taken down by Ernests Gulbis in the first round of the Rome Masters.

I'm sure that's a sign of the apocalypse...

i wouldn't say the apocalypse because Ernests is a good player. And federer hasn't been doing too well in tournaments since the australian open so idk if its more of a signal than the apocalypse

Gulbis is currently ranked 34th in the world, so this was a big upset, especially in the 1st round! Sometimes Fed lets down mentally and gives his opponents too much wiggle room, and I think this was another example of that. I sure hope this motivates him to do amazing at the french open.

idk if he can recreate the same magic he had last year because his form is a lttle sloppy
