Who do you think from the Mens and Womens game will take out the 2010, Australian Open crown?

i think it may just turn out to be an all belgium final in the womens draw with klijsters and henin in it. as for the mens draw, that is very hard to tell what might happen, but i do think that del potro can prove himself worthy of another grand slam final

I agree that Kiljsters was on fire at the US Open, and she has to be the favorite at the Australian. I think that Serena is always a contender, and Sharapova could easily get to the Semi's. I'm not sure about Henin. I don't think she will get past the 4th round.
On the men's side del Potro could do well, but after his letdown at the ATP finals I don't know if he is mentally ready to compete at this level. Federer has a good shot of course, but I'm going to go out on the limb and say that I think Soderling will have a great tournament and is a strong contender to get to the Finals.

well henin seems to be doing good so far in brisbane, so that could be a jump start for the australian open. as for soderling and del potro, i agree that they will go far in their draw, but we could be wrong. there are always surprises in the men's draw so i guess we're gonna have to wait and see.
p.s. and i still that the defending champ will prove his worthiness of the title again, rafael nadal!
