Does anyone else think that Fed has one of the best draw's he's had in years? His only challenge to getting to the semi finals is Roddick or Monfils, but that's not too tough for a slam. I think he has a great chance this year.

I've been so out of it the last few months, but Nadal has to be a top contender. What about Federer? Does he have one more slam left in him? I'm not so sure.

Very very jealous. Wish I could make it, but I'm in the United States and could not afford the trip. One year I'll go to the French or to the ATP Finals and have my European tennis vacation.

I have Querry and Benjamin Becker, and both lost in the first round. Not good at all. I know that Querry is tall and better on a fast surface, but I never thought he would lose in the 1st round. Ouch.

Wow, that is fugly. I can't believe she wore something so bizarre.

I think too much is being made of this. Yeah, he crossed the line, but he was also trying to entertain a large crowd and only repeated what he has said about Pete before. Pete came out looking good, and Agassi looks like an a-hole, so justice has been "served" (pun intended).

Gulbis is currently ranked 34th in the world, so this was a big upset, especially in the 1st round! Sometimes Fed lets down mentally and gives his opponents too much wiggle room, and I think this was another example of that. I sure hope this motivates him to do amazing at the french open.

I had del Potro winning the whole thing, but now that he is gone I think Federer has an amazing shot for #16. Murray has a good shot and is playing well, but I'm rooting for Fed.

So I have Soderling on my men's team, and he lost in the 1st round. And I have Sharapova and Oudin on my women's team and both of them lost in the first round. I thought Sharapova would easily get to the 4th round, and I thought Oudin was a promising dark horse after her amazing US Open run. Oh well.

I can't believe Soderling lost in the 1st round, that is crazy. I actually had him on my team, and I had him getting to the finals against del Potro sad

Excellent video, but I don't know who half of those players are?

A Nadal vs Fed final seems so 2008 to me. I just cant imagine that happening this year because both players are getting less consistent. Fed had a MUCH better 2009 than Nadal, but I don't think he can get to more than 2 slam finals this year, and Nadal will probably struggle to get to the French final.

Is that Verdasco playing amazing tennis or Djokovic having a mental breakdown?

It's always hard when the Williams sisters are in the same half of the draw, but I guess Venus has not been playing that great to there was probably no chance for an all Williams final.

The bottom half is very tough, but I think Clijsters will take them all out and meet either Serena or Wozniacki (yes, I said Wozniacki) in the final.

Soderling, is gonna have a great year this year, and i reckon if he can keep it up, he just might be able to pull off a very very big upset...

Hey, you read my mind. I think Sodering will do great at the Australian this year. He has such a great style of play, and he is mentally tough.

I agree that Kiljsters was on fire at the US Open, and she has to be the favorite at the Australian. I think that Serena is always a contender, and Sharapova could easily get to the Semi's. I'm not sure about Henin. I don't think she will get past the 4th round.

On the men's side del Potro could do well, but after his letdown at the ATP finals I don't know if he is mentally ready to compete at this level. Federer has a good shot of course, but I'm going to go out on the limb and say that I think Soderling will have a great tournament and is a strong contender to get to the Finals.

I totally agree tennisguy, it was an amazing tournament. I would add that all of the slams in 2009 were incredible - it was a great year for tennis.

I hate to say it, but no chance for Nadal. He is so far off his game this year, and I can't imagine that he will win any slams in 2010.

I just saw to the replay, and Serena said "I'm going to shove this ball down your F*%@%?! throat..." and approched the linesperson waving her racket in a very aggressive way. She said many other things that were quite bad, so she deserved to have the point taken away from her.

BUT, the linesperson is an idiot - calling foot faults is the hardest things to call, and it was soooo close. It should never have been called a foot fault. But this is no excuse for that type of behavior, so the punishment does fit.

Djokovic is quietly making his way through the draw. He faces Verdasco in the QFs and probably Federer in the SFs. Does anyone think he has a chance to beat Federer and get to the finals?

He's had a bad year at the majors, so it would be nice to see him do well now. But he also seems unhappy on the court compared to his joking, happy self a few years ago. I don't think he can beat Federer, but let's hope it's a good match.

Rafa will get to the quarterfinals, and maybe even the semifinals, but I don't know anyone who picks him to win. He might do well in a best of 3 set tournament, but a best of 5 will test his health much more.

I had those two women on my team as well - they were both expected to do very well this year. I'm shocked that they are both out so early. But on the bright side I have Kim Clijsters on my team and she is doing great! When did she decide to get back into the mix?

Roddick had plenty of chances to win this match, so don't feel sorry for him. He was up 5-1 in the 2nd set tie break, and he had several chances in the final set. Federer never looked scared or rattled - he was always his usual calm, composed self and this is why he won yet again!

Murray said that the closed roof caused the ball to move differently, and it made the temperature on the court over 100 F. I have a feeling that these conditions hurt him more than the crowd.

Wow, what a massacre! She destroyed the #1 player in the world 6-1, 6-0. I have never seen anything like that before against a #1 player.
