So sorry for the delay - you can create your team now. Please let me know if you run into any issues at all. And try out the new leagues feature to challenge your friends - it is very cool.

Thanks charles, i've chosen my final two and winner (both mens and womens) a number of times but when i go back to home it looks like i haven't chosen them.....

Hi Megan,

Yes, this is a known issue that we are quickly working on - I expect to have this fixed by tomorrow morning. I think this was caused by the recent leagues work we did. Sorry about that.

The issue we were having related to finalists and winners is now fixed. Please let us know if you notice any other issues with the site - I greatly appreciate the feedback so that we can make sure that everyone has a lot of fun.

Charles, why are the teams still open? the message on the site says people can edit teams until tomorrow morning but play started today?

Hi Megan - we migrated servers between the Australian Open and the French (to handle our increased traffic), and this caused an error with the tournament start date in our emails to users. We told users that they have until tomorrow morning, but in reality the tournament started today. This left us with a dilemma - do we let people create teams today, even though the tournament started, or do we close it down even though some people were planning on creating their team today. We decided on second option since most of the top players were either not playing today and we know that many people are still making their teams given the email message we sent. We have fixed the issue, so this error will not happen in future tournaments. I would suggest that you use this to your advantage and make any changes you like until early tomorrow morning (5am ET).

There have been a few bumps this tournament, but we are fixing each one so that they will not happen again in the future. Sorry about that, and thanks for being so understanding.
