Topic: Nadal's New Look

This just in:

Rafael Nadal has abandoned his trademark sleeveless tops and capri pants for T-shirts and above-the-knee shorts at this year’s Australian Open.

Apparently sports bloggers and fan forums have been puzzled by this new attire, with at least one female blogger complaining that she "missed seeing his sculpted biceps."

Are you kidding me?
There are actually people writing/thinking about this?

gimme a break!

Re: Nadal's New Look

I was shocked by his new style. But I guess he is getting older. I remember seeing McEnroe wearing those pants as a joke, and he looked ridiculous. Maybe over a certain age you start to feel silly wearing that stuff.

Re: Nadal's New Look

I like his new style, and although I do myself miss those biceps wink I think the new kit does look great on him and it's nice that he's felt in a good enough place to wear it. Apparently he is so superstitious he has put off wearing this new kit for over a year, not feeling comfortable enough to change into a new one when the old style was doing so well. Considering his amazing success last year I don't blame him!
